Monday – Sunday
£6 p/h before 5pm, £10 p/h after 5pm

Pool is charged by the minute. So come down, squeeze in a couple of games during your lunch hour, and we’ll charge you accordingly

Deposit of £10

Play limited to 1 hour when there is a queue.

Pre-bookings
If there are a group of you and you don’t want to wait for your table then they can be pre-booked for a little extra, plus a minimum spend on food and drink.

History of Pool Timeline

 15th Century:

Started in France as an indoor game based on the game of crocket using a “maces” to strike the ball on a flat wooden table.

17th Century

The pool queue was developed

19th Century

The leather Cue Tip

English visitors show the Americans how to use spin

Chalk is used to increase friction between ball and cue

Slate Beds begin to be used

By 1850 the billiard table had essentially evolved into its current form.
